Allison Hiroto
Allison Hiroto grew
up in California and moved to New York to attend Columbia University
where she studied music. Her love of theatre grew and her first
professional show was with the Yara Arts
Group at La MaMa ETC.
From there she went on to tour as Pocahontas in Pocahontas;
Sadako in Sadako and 1000
Cranes; and the White Queen in Alice
in Wonderland. Regional credits include: The
Mikado, Annie
Get Your Gun, The Bacchae, Warrior Sisters, Circle, Voices
of the Wind and Motel. Allison has performed under the direction
of Ellen Stewart in: Dionysus, Mythos Oedipus, Seven Against
Thebes, The Raven, Aesclepius, Perseus, and Heakles via Phaedra.
As a member of Loco7, Allison has traveled to Bogota, Columbia
to perform in Bokan: The Bad
Hearted and in 2006 performed
at La MaMa in Open Door. Allison is a trained singer, actor
and dancer and a member of the Great Jones Repertory Company
as well as the First Look Theatre Company, the acting company
for NYU's Dramatic Writing Division.
