Loco7 reimagines this classic text, with puppets, dance and music to show the audience that no dream is too impossible to obtain and that with hope and heart you can conquer fear.

Don Quixote and his friend Sancho Panza travel the five boroughs of New York City on a quest to save the world from evil forces and protect Lady Liberty. The audience follows Don Quixote as he explores New York City in his quest for love, honor, liberty and justice for all.

Ages 4 and up!

Under the direction and vision of Federico Restrepo, Loco7 has been active since 1985. Restrepo creates animated movement in an ever-changing and surreal stage environment to address themes of South American culture and history, the immigrant experience, and urban life.

Ongoing Children’s Puppet Workshops

Loco7 continues to work with children ages 4+ on puppet and dance workshops with our collaborating organizations, La MaMa Kids, New Stage Performance Space, New York City Public School 19, Bank Street Head Start, and East Village Community School.
