Emerging from the residency process, Loco7’s performance excerpt explores the powerful ties between the natural world and our shared human experience. Presented four times throughout the day in a location along the Festival street, the work will surprise and engage audiences, turning everyday public spaces into sites of imagination, movement, and connection.
Musicians of all genres will perform live at stages all along Main Street, while a food truck and local restaurants serve up good eats. Veterans Park will host a variety of creative arts projects including a collaborative stamp village, a lively outdoor performance by Loco7 Dance Puppet Theatre, and a puppet procession by students of Anne Gohorel’s Kids’ Large Puppetmaking Intensive.
At the Headwaters Arts Center, there will be booths for cyanotypes, tattoo body-painting, and large-format portrait-making with photographer Mark Burnham.
Sponsored by The Mountain Eagle and Schoharie News and BLICK Art Materials.
